The Chadakoin River Activation project will bring new life to the river and surrounding area in Jamestown by enhancing access, creating business opportunities, and establishing the Chadakoin as a recreational destination. Since the Chadakoin River Strategic Business Plan was created in 2021, partners from around Chautauqua County have been collaborating on its implementation, and funding for the first phase of projects has been secured.
