There are countless reasons to enjoy living in Chautauqua County, including the many attractions found within our various communities. This week we are sharing a virtual tour of the Northwest Ice Arena in Jamestown, NY. Footage courtesy of our partners at the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau.
Located at 319 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY, the Northwest Arena offers an exciting array of activities for all ages. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a newcomer to the ice, the arena provides year-round fun and entertainment for everyone.
With its spacious ice rink, Northwest Arena invites visitors to glide and twirl to their heart’s content. From public skating sessions to figure skating lessons and hockey leagues, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond the ice, the arena also hosts a variety of events and programs to engage the community. From thrilling hockey matches to family-friendly activities, there’s always something happening at Northwest Arena. Plus, with its convenient location and welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to gather with friends and family for a memorable day out.
A new addition the arena has opened is The Zone. The Zone is a 6,200 square-foot indoor play space designed for toddlers through pre-teens. It integrates sports with STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) through interactive and immersive experiences. Highlights include a sports tunnel, a free play zone with a massive jumbotron, a toddler bullpen, and an ADA accessible climbing structure. The project aims to attract 45,000 visitors annually to further more additions to its attraction.
Whether you’re looking to hit the ice or simply soak up the lively atmosphere, Northwest Arena offers an unforgettable experience for everyone who walks through its doors.
